Production Journal - Meeting the level 5 Students

Today was the day the level 5 students joined the project. listening to their questions about the project and the designs really did make it feel like the project had officially started. After such a drawn out design process and feeling rather alone on the project i finally had a team to communicate with and explore creative ideas with. The team now consists of myself, Six Level 5 makers and one level 5 supervisor who will also work on elements of the puppet with me. I spent my time during the meeting explaining my designs answering questions of fabric and textiles applications as well as suggesting how the structure may work. All the level five students seemed to be very excited about the project and after the meeting some remained to discuss further how I see the final costume looking.
