Andrew Layton Bio

Im currently a student at the arts university college at bournemouth, studying BA (hons) Costume with performance design. After receiving a triple distinction in BTEC National Diploma Art and Design, Specialising in Fashion and Textiles, I took a gap year to explore my options. In this year I worked as a costume Designer and Maker in a Drag Caberet Bar in the heart of Newcastles LGBT scene. Sparking a love of costume I was accepted onto CwPD at AUCB and have now developed my love of live theatre across to carnival and circus. This year my main focuses have been the Moving Tides procession in Weymouth and Battle for the Winds a show designed around the Olympic sailing events.
